Job Overview

Courier Connection, Inc. is seeking dependable, professional Independent Contractor Box Truck Drivers to support our growing delivery operations. We are looking for experienced contractors who own or have access to a reliable box truck and are interested in delivery opportunities transporting freight, commercial shipments, and other customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled pickups and deliveries according to assigned routes and delivery requirements.
• Safely load, unload, secure, and transport freight and other shipments.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain proof of delivery when required.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and receiving locations.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, and customer-specific procedures.
• Maintain the vehicle in safe, clean, and reliable operating condition.
• Meet established pickup and delivery times and communicate delays or service issues promptly.
• Protect customer shipments and report damaged, missing, or improperly secured freight.
• Provide professional, courteous service at every pickup and delivery location.

Independent Contractor Requirements

• Must own or have reliable access to a box truck suitable for assigned delivery work.
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
• Acceptable driving record and ability to meet customer-specific qualification requirements.
• Current vehicle registration and required insurance coverage.
• Ability to provide any required business documentation and tax information.
• Ability to pass applicable background checks and drug screening when required by the customer or assignment.
• Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle freight as required by the assigned route.
• Previous box truck, commercial delivery, courier, or freight transportation experience preferred.
• Professional appearance, dependable attendance, and a commitment to safe, on-time service.
