• 5+ years of Business Intelligence / Analytics experience
• 3+ years building enterprise-scale Microsoft Power BI solutions
• Expert-level DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
• Strong Power Query / M skills
• Strong SQL experience with complex datasets
• Deep Tabular / Semantic Data Modeling experience
• Star Schema design - Facts, Dimensions, Hierarchies & Relationships
• KPI, Calculation Logic & Reusable Measure development
• Power BI Reports & Dashboards
• Drill-through, Bookmarks, Tooltips & Parameterized Views
• Paginated Reports
• Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Object-Level Security (OLS)
• Workspace Roles, Dataset Permissions & Secure Sharing
• Power BI Pro & Premium licensing/capacity knowledge
• Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) experience
• Experience with CJIS / HIPAA or highly regulated environments
• Data Governance, Audit Logging, Refresh Auditing & Change Tracking
• Power BI Deployment Pipelines
• Azure DevOps
• DEV/PROD Environment Promotion, Versioning, Approvals & Rollbacks
• CI/CD processes
• Service Principals & Key Vault Secrets
• Dataset and Report Performance Optimization
• Composite Models, Aggregations & Incremental Refresh
• DirectQuery, Direct Lake & Import Modes
• Data Warehousing / Enterprise Data Warehouse experience
• Strong stakeholder collaboration with Data Engineers, Data Owners, Stewards, PMO, InfoSec & business teams
• Documentation including Data Dictionaries, DAX Catalogs, Lineage, RLS/OLS Matrices, SOPs & UAT Scripts

• Data Warehousing & Lakehouse Architecture
• Microsoft Purview - Cataloging, Classification & Data Lineage
• Formal Data Governance experience
• Power BI performance engineering at enterprise scale

• DP-600 - Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
• DP-203 - Azure Data Engineer
• AZ-900 - Azure Fundamentals
