Job Description

Senior Health Economics & Outcomes Research Specialist at Medtronic designs and executes real-world evidence studies using healthcare data to support market access and business strategy for the Pain Interventions portfolio. The fully remote role involves analyzing claims and electronic health record datasets, developing study protocols, and communicating findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct real-world evidence studies using claims, EHR, and linked healthcare datasets
• Perform retrospective analyses including cohort selection, dataset linkage, and outcome creation
• Develop study protocols, statistical code, analysis plans, and data visualizations
• Interpret results and contribute to manuscripts, abstracts, reports, and conference presentations
• Review and validate analytical code to ensure quality and reproducibility

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years experience OR Master's degree with 2+ years experience
• Proficiency in SAS programming
• Experience analyzing administrative claims or electronic health record databases
• Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Economics, Health Economics, Epidemiology, or related field (preferred)
• Experience with R or Python programming languages (preferred)
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and NDC coding systems (preferred)
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at time of hire

Compensation: $104,800.00 - (incomplete range provided)
